A seemingly unbeatable kaiju is on the attack! Okarun hits on the idea of revisualizing the nanoskin that repaired Momo's house into a form they can use to counterattack, but he lacks the visual abilities needed, so it's Kinta Sakata-aka Erosuke-to the rescue! The nerd uses his vast knowledge of sci-fi to transform Momo's house into...a giant Buddha robot?!
The pacing in this volume is relentless—Okarun’s nanoskin gambit against the kaiju kept me flipping pages way past midnight. The art on those transformation panels is chaotic in the best way, even if it sometimes makes you squint to follow the action.
The nanoskin transformation sequence is such a clever payoff for anyone who's been following since the house repair arc, and the kaiju fight has some genuinely creative panel layouts. Only gripe is it ends on a cliffhanger that makes me wish I'd waited for the next volume to arrive.
The pacing in this volume is relentless, with the kaiju fight ramping up quickly after Okarun's clever reinterpretation of the nanoskin. Liked seeing Momo's house repair tech get a creative combat twist, even if the resolution felt a touch rushed. Solid installment that keeps the momentum going.
