Momo Ayase and Okarun are on opposite sides of the paranormal spectrum regarding what they’ll believe in and what they won’t. Their quest to prove each other wrong leads them down a path of secret crushes and paranormal battles they’ll have to participate in to believe!

Momo and Okarun task Turbo Granny with uncovering who picked up Okarun’s family jewel from the police station. She succeeds in infiltrating the station but is quickly thwarted by its computer system. Undaunted, the pair decide they’ll try again, but on their way home, they run into the Serpoian Rokuro, and it’s through his powers that they’re able to identify the culprit! But why is it that guy?

Read this in one sitting and the way Momo and Okarun’s opposing beliefs keep driving the story is so fun—it’s got that same chaotic energy that made me pick up the series. The pacing in this volume finally gives Okarun and Momo's rivalry the space it deserves, and the banter had me laughing out loud on the train. Paper quality's solid too, no smudging when I flip back to re-check a panel.

The cover art for this volume is gorgeous in person, and the spine sits perfectly with the rest of my collection. The way Momo and Okarun keep trading barbs while the plot twists faster than I can flip pages is exactly why I grabbed this one.
