The UFO and occult angle is such a fun twist on the usual shonen setup, and Momo calling him "Okarun" because of the taboo name got me laughing right from chapter one. I read it in one sitting because the art is so dynamic, especially the paranormal action scenes.
Got this for my weekly manga fix and flew through it in one sitting. The banter between Momo and Okarun is genuinely hilarious, and the art really captures the chaotic energy of the spirit battles.
The extras at the end about how the story was originally pitched are such a fun bonus, and the print quality really makes the art pop. I laughed out loud at Momo dragging Okarun into her ghost theories, it’s such an odd but sweet dynamic.
