The original RX-78-2 Gundam reimagined by renowned mecha designer Hajime Katoki in this Master Grade Ver.Ka kit at 1:100 scale by Bandai. The first in the legendary Ver.Ka line within the MG series, this kit features unique proportions and styling with a fully poseable inner frame. Includes beam rifle, beam sabers, shield, hyper bazooka, core fighter, sitting and standing Amuro Ray pilot figures, and designer decals for a premium finish.

The 1:100 scale is a perfect size for my shelf and the Ver.Ka proportions make it look way more aggressive than the original. Panel lining took me two evenings but the color separation straight out of the box is honestly good enough to skip painting.

Katoki's redesign gives it a sharper, more military

Emily ★★★★★

The articulation on this Ver.Ka is ridiculous — I've got it in a deep crouch holding the beam rifle and nothing pops off. Katoki's proportion tweaks make the 1:100 scale look way more imposing than the old MG. Took me a whole weekend and I enjoyed every panel line.
