Bandai's third attempt at the original RX-78-2 Gundam in Master Grade, and they finally nailed it. The Ver.3.0 introduced a revolutionary inner frame where the outer armor clicks into place over a fully poseable skeleton, making it feel less like building a model and more like assembling a tiny engineering marvel. Every joint has a purpose, every armor panel fits with satisfying precision. If you're going to own one RX-78-2 kit, this is the one — the most advanced version of the most iconic mecha ever designed.

Edward U. ★★★★☆

The inner frame on this Ver.3.0 is genuinely impressive, the armor panels snap over it so cleanly that I barely needed to sand anything. Only gripe is the hands, they hold the beam rifle fine but feel a bit loose on the saber. Still the best-looking RX-78-2 I've built.
