The way the shadows curve around his coat really captures the vibe from the anime, and at 8 inches tall he towers over my other figures nicely. The paint job on the glowing eyes and dagger is crisp, no sloppy edges that I can spot.
The sculpt on that dagger arm is ridiculously clean for the price, and the 8-inch height gives him a real presence on my shelf. I’ve had cheaper figures tip over easily, but the base feels solid enough that I don’t worry about it. My only struggle now is finding room for the rest of the set.
The dynamic pose captures his dagger-draw mid-action perfectly, and the paint job on the coat details is way crisper than I expected for this price point. He's got a nice heft to him that makes him feel solid on the shelf, not flimsy at all.
