I grabbed this for my daughter and ended up reading it myself in one sitting. Momo and Okarun’s banter with Turbo Granny is comedy gold, and the print quality makes the fight panels pop.
The pacing in this volume is relentless—Momo and Okarun are already deep in spirit and alien chaos by page three, and the granny’s quips had me laughing out loud on the train. It’s pure nonsense in the best way, and the action panels are cleaner than I expected for how much is crammed in.
The cover art alone is worth it—Momo’s expression on the front perfectly captures the chaotic energy inside. I flew through the chapters in one sitting, and the granny’s quips had me laughing out loud mid-commute.
