The pacing through the alien clone fight is relentless, and watching Momo team up with the Serpo out of sheer necessity adds a twist I didn't see coming. This volume keeps the energy high from the first page to the cliffhanger, and the art during the truce scenes is especially sharp.
Got through the Serpo truce chapters last night and the pacing is relentless, Momo's counterattack strategy actually had me holding my breath. The volume ends on such a sharp cliffhanger that I immediately re-read the last two pages twice, which is the highest praise I can give a manga.
The Serpo truce arc is peak DanDaDan—that clone fight had me on the edge of my seat, and Momo’s desperation actually made me feel for her. The pacing in this volume is tighter than the last few, so it’s a fast, satisfying read.
