DanDaDan VOL 17

Zuma’s sudden team-up with Momo is way more compelling than I expected—his dynamic with her totally shifts the energy of the arc. The cursed diorama setting makes every chapter feel like a tense board game, and I couldn’t put it down once they started hunting for that jewel.

The diorama game-board setup is such a creative twist, and watching Zuma and Momo team up after his jewel theft adds great tension to every page. The pacing kept me flipping chapters well past midnight.

That cursed diorama arc is so tense I had to keep flipping back to re-read the game board panels, and Zuma finally getting fleshed out makes the whole jewel theft pay off. The pacing never drags, and the art on the diorama details is insane.
